As per Spet 2009 visa bulletin, my PD will be current . I recently moved to LA due to Job change . If i do AC 21, do you think i will miss a oppurtunity of getting GC in spet since my PD is OCT 2004.
Please advise. Should i do AC21 now ? Or Should i do only on RFE?
Another question. I still have permanent address in chicago but moved to LA. Do i need to do AC11 form?

My lawyer initiated the PERM process late last year, the timeline was such that the prevailing wage request was filed with State Workforce Agency (SWA) on 12-30-2009. The SWA prevailing wage determination was received back by my lawyer on the 1/11/10.
Subsequently the recruitment process started and everything was going smooth. The PERM was supposed to be filed in the first week of April. My lawyer now is saying that they need to push the application filing because of the new rule which came into effect Jan 1st which requires all prevailing wage requests to be filed with the DOL. The rule states that:
On January 1, 2010, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) changed the way that prevailing wage determinations (PWDs) are processed for the PERM, H-1B, H-1B1 (Chile/Singapore), E-3 (Australia), and H-2B programs. PWDs are now issued by DOL�s National Prevailing Wage and Helpdesk Center (NPWHC) in Washington, DC. Below are updated Frequently Asked Questions about the new process.

My 140 (filed concurrently with 485) was approved on Aug 17th. Ever since 08/17 I have been seeing LUD's on it everyday. In fact there was a LUP on 08/19 Sunday! Any ideas what's happening? I think something is going in CIS.
I got a LUD on my November 2005 approved I 140 on 03/13/08. My I 485 reciept date is August 7th, 2007. I got all reciepts, EAD and FP notices. I am in EB3 category. Need to know why LUD on I 140. :confused:

Hi,
My friend and his family got their GC's approved last week. They also have Canadian GC. My friend is the primary applicant and she is currently in US, but her husband is in India. He did not apply for an advance parole and was planning to re-enter the country using his Canadian GC. Now that his US GC is approved, will there be any issue at the port of entry?

also try taking appointment by sending someone to the mumbai office. only a portion of the appointments are available on the internet. you can get a better date by taking a local appointment. it can be taken anywhere where there is VFS office (pune etc) if mumbai is not a convenient place for you. this was the case around 3 years ago, i dont know if it has changed now, but worth exploring the option.

You can also extend the H1b...if your labor is filed 365 days prior to your H1b expiraton...
You are looking atleast 21 months into future...there are so many things that can happen...
140 rejection may not be an issue... but in case your worst fear comes true...you will be alright if it's rejected before feb 2008.
Even then there are other ways around this problem...

I received an email from my lawyer on 26th June 2007 that they have received my approved labor certification in mail today. I got my medical examination i.e. form I-693 performed on June 23rd 2007 and received the results on June 25th 2007. I have already filed my I-485. Will it be a problem since I have got my medical test done a few days before receiving my labor certification.

You will be using XNA Game Studio (installs into Visual Studio), to develop games. All your time other than for graphics will be spent in Visual Studio 2010. Highly recommend you have a device. Testing in the emulator is not the greatest for games.
Note: All you need is the freely available tools (Express Editions). Having the student or paid versions does not really benefit those using the XNA Game Studio, or building applications for WP7. I'm sure that page says that, just didn't want you to get confused.
If you have done any other game programming you will find everything pretty easy, just takes a bit to get use to. It sounds like you are new to C#, but don't worry most tutorials are setup in a way this shouldn't be a problem.
The MSDN Create site has code samples and there are lengthy tutorials online that will help you get started with XNA.

It's up to the employer if he wants to keep you as an employee and has the right to cancel your H1 if he likes to do so. Just because you left the country doesnt mean that your H1 becomes invalid, but again its up to the employer.

I must admit I'm not very photoshop savy. I'm looking for some advise on this picture. I took it with a polarizer and have spent many hours trying to photo edit it to make it lighter without losing the color of the sky but can't seem to get it quite right. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
